Aviapartner gets Liège extension, Finnair deals

Aviapartner Liège has obtained a four-year extension of its handling licence at Liège Airport, which now runs until 2010. The concession is in two parts: a ramp licence for passenger flight, including the baggage sorting area, and a licence for cargo flights. At Liège, Aviapartner currently serves charter airlines such as Thomas Cook Airlines, Jetfly, Pegasus, Tunisair, Sunexpress and Spanair, as well as diversion flights for Ryanair, easyJet and others.

Aviapartner Liège services include check-in, boarding and lost & found for passengers, aircraft handling (loading/unloading baggage, cargo and mail, stairs, cleaning, water and toilet services, etc.) and operations (weight and balance, load-sheet). The company has provided aircraft handling services at Liège since 1965.

Aviapartner has also announced that it has signed a contract with Finnair for services at Brussels, Amsterdam and Paris-CDG.
