Aviapartner changes

Independent ground handler Aviapartner has appointed Nigel Daniel to the position of chief operating officer, handling services, for the entire Aviapartner network. The move comes as Aviapartner reorganizes away from a geographically divided business structure to one oriented along business lines. Daniel will hold full responsibility for all operational, commercial and financial aspects of the four business lines: cargo, handling, catering and technical. Daniel has ten years’ experience in the aviation sector, most recently at Swissport.

In addition, Philippe Bois has been appointed commercial manager for the Handling Business Unit in France. He will assume responsibility for all commercial aspects of handling operations, and will play a leading role in strengthening the company’s partnerships with customers at its eight-station network in France. He has extensive experience at Servair.
