Seoul Incheon voted best in OAG awards
Korea’s Seoul Incheon International Airport won the “Best Airport” crown at the 25th anniversary OAG Airline of the Year Awards. Seoul Incheon just edged out Singapore Changi, last year’s winner (which received a commendation), and the two were hotly pursued by Amsterdam Schiphol, Dubai International, New York JFK and San Francisco International.
British Airways took the honors as Airline of the Year at the awards ceremony, held at The Landmark in London. The airline also scooped up Best Transatlantic Airline, Best Europe-Asia/Australasia Airline and Best Airline in Western Europe, as well as making it to the shortlist in three other categories. The Outstanding Service Award was given to Maria Sabbah of British Mediterranean Airways, for her service in helping passengers stranded after Israeli air attacks on Beirut Rafik Hariri International Airport in July 2006.
OAG is a global flight information and data solutions company with offices in Europe, the Americas and Asia.
