Keflavik upgrades access control Iceland’s Keflavik International Airport has picked Tyco Fire & Security’s CEM AC2000 access control system to provide security management. Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, Keflavik encompasses modern passenger and commercial facilities as well as extensive aircraft operating areas, all in need of a secure access control with advanced management features. The Tyco system includes dual redundant servers, integrated CCTV, elevator control and door level intelligence based on the CEM xProx 200 MiFare smart card range of readers. The xProx 200 MiFare range will control over 220 airside and landside doors at the airport. |
