Qantas startup launches in Japan

Qantas Group LCC Jetstar has launched operations in Japan, offering daily service direct from Osaka to Brisbane and on to Sydney. The route will be serviced by a fleet of Airbus A330-200 aircraft in a 303-seat configuration, providing two classes of service including StarClass, Jetstar’s business class. In 2009 the route will be served with Jetstar’s planned fleet of Boeing 787s, also outfitted for two classes of service. The new operation represents a brand new international route for Qantas Group.
