Airbiz wins four majors
Australia-based Airbiz, a global airport strategic planning and development specialist, has announced that it has been hired on as a lead planner and advisor on four major international airport projects. The announced deals include the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, India, and the King Shaka International Airport near Durban, South Africa.
Airbiz will also undertake comprehensive assessment and modeling of passenger movements and terminal requirements at Incheon International in Seoul, Korea as part of a plan by the airport authorities there to turn Incheon into “the world’s best hub airport for the next generation.”
Airbiz has also been signed up to follow its work on a new terminal and retailing concept at Canada’s Calgary International Airport. The company will now embark on the next stage of terminal and airfield planning there, promising “a range of brand new concepts for the North American market.”
