CAI lands Nagpur hub development deal
Changi Airports International (CAI), the wholly owned airport management unit of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), has secured a technical services agreement with the state government of Maharashtra India to develop the Multi-modal International Passenger and Cargo Hub Airport at Nagpur (MIHAN). CAI will work with the Maharashtra Airport Development Company (MADC) to enhance the efficiency of Nagpur Airport after MADC assumes operations there in the next couple of months. The present agreement is for a three-month development and improvement program, but could be extended for a further nine months.
